LIFE ON THE BEDSIDE TABLE (2002)

This painting was completed not long after undergoing an operation for cancer. The scene depicts the bedroom window and bedside table. The goldfish in the glass of water lived in our large pond, and at the time was being harassed by a black shag. Unfortunately he was fatally wounded not long after the painting was finished.
